Dr. Stacey Beddoe is originally from Springfield, MO. She graduated from Willard High School and then attended Drury University. While pursuing a BS degree in both Biology and Chemistry, she worked as a veterinary technician at Cottage Veterinary Hospital. She was admitted into the College of Veterinary Medicine at University of MO-Columbia after only 3 years at Drury. While in Vet School, she participated in the Raptor Rehabilitation program. She received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2004. In July of 2007 she became the new owner of Southwest Animal Hospital. She is an active member of American Business Women’s Association and Association of Avian Veterinarians. She attends Cornerstone Baptist Church where she leads youth and is a member of the JOY puppet team. Her 6 pets at home keep her very busy; however, she still finds time for running, swimming, and movies. |

Dr. Alisa Hutchison grew up in Versailles, MO until starting undergraduate college. She graduated with a bachelor o Science in Biloby and minor in Global Studies from Drury University in Springfield, MO. She then attended the University of Missouri Veterinary School and graduated in 2007. She enjoys anything outdoors, rollerblading, and playing with her dog, Stanley, and her cat, Shiva. She also loves to travel and read. Her travels include scientific research trips studying aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems in Baja de los Angeles, Mexico. She has also traveled to Hungary, Germany, the Czech Republic, France, Belgium, and the Netherlands. Her work interest include small animal soft tissue surgery and internal medicine. she has laser surgery experience and is proficient in spaying and neutering rabbits. Her lifelong love for animals directed her into veterinary medicine and therefore, allows her to do what she loves on a daily basis. |

Dr. Roger Dozier was raised on farms in Central Illinois & Central Missouri. In 1960, he graduated High School then attended the University of Illinois, where he later received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1966. He started his career working for the 5 years in St. Louis County. In 1971, Dr. Dozier started Southwest Animal Hospital and has continued to practice there since. He is a member of the Veterinary Orthopedic Society, the American Veterinary Dental Society, the American Veterinary Medical Association, and the Jefferson City Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Dozier was past Chairman of the Board for the Missouri Veterinary Medical Association. He attends Community Christian Church. Dr. Dozier enjoys fishing, golf, boating and home improvement projects. |
